Business Sentiment - May 2012

The Ibec business sentiment series has been conducted quarterly since February 2009. Around 400 responses are analysed in each quarterly survey, and the data collected provides valuable insight into Ibec member sentiment both on individual businesses and on the economy generally. The results for the second quarter of 2012 are contained in this section.

Business Sentiment - Quarter 2 - Sentiment

27/06/2012 - Overall business confidence weakened slightly but more concerning is the sharper drop in managers’ assessment of their own business. Sentiment is now at levels last seen in the second half of 2010.
