Ibec pensions levy survey 2011

A survey of member companies in relation to the pensions levy proposed in the government's jobs initiative announced on May 10th was carried out by Ibec's research unit. A total of 443 companies responded to the survey. Over a third of respondent companies (34%) had a defined benefit pension scheme in place. The incidence of defined contribution schemes was much higher among respondents at 75%.
