Autumn 2017 HR Update Survey

25/10/2017 - The Ibec HR Update Survey conducted by the Ibec research unit collects data on a wide range of HR topics. Over 400 companies took part in the Autumn 2017 survey, which found that 75% of companies plan to increase basic pay in 2018.

13/06/2017 - This report, completed by Ibec's research unit provides information in relation to projected pay movements for 2017, by sector, size and activity.

HR Update 2014 Spring

19/06/2014 - This report contains results of the HR Update survey conducted in April 2014, to which 439 senior HR contacts in Ibec member organisations responded. This survey found that employee engagement and retention are getting more attention.

HR Update 2016 Autumn

01/11/2016 - This report contains the results of the HR update survey conducted in September 2016 and is based on 392 responses from Ibec member companies, across all sizes and industry sectors.

HR Update Budget changes - 2013

19/11/2013 - This HR update budget survey data was collected in November 2013 from 400 senior HR contacts in Ibec member organisations. This questionnaire addressed how employers are planning to respond to changes announced in Budget 2014.

16/10/2013 - The Autumn 2013 HR update surveyed 432 senior HR contacts in Ibec member companies on trends in pay, employment and resourcing, cost containment and innovation. The full report is available to Ibec member companies.

HR Update Survey 2013 Spring

16/05/2013 - The Spring 2013 HR update survey collected responses from 412 senior HR contacts in Ibec member companies on trends in pay and employment, people management priorities, the composition of the HR function, as well as details around HR priorities for 2013 and an update on retirement policies within companies.

HR Update Survey Autumn 2012

11/10/2012 - The Autumn 2012 HR update survey collected responses from 517 senior HR contacts in Ibec member companies on trends in pay and employment, performance management and employee engagement. This survey will be conducted again in March 2013.

HR Update Survey Spring 2012

18/05/2012 - The Spring 2012 HR update survey collected responses from 549 senior HR contacts in Ibec member companies on trends in pay and employment, people management priorities, the risks to benefits such as occupational sick pay and medical insurance schemes, and the likely effects of statutory sick pay and new agency workers legislation. Future surveys will continue to capture pay and reward trends and will address the critical issues of performance, engagement, and the HR function in more depth.
